Juice Inc. is an unlikely slot with almost no features whatsoever from Playson. We rate it at 8/10 and believe it’s refreshing to see a video slot with an unusual structure.
This is a game with a 3×1 grid, a single payline, and no typical perks such as free spins or wild symbols. There’s only a jackpot that you can reach if you “fill” a bottle and therefore unlock the three green lights. If the bottle is already full and you land three matching fruit symbols, you can expect a prize of up to 300x, depending on the bottle. The game is all about taking your chance and expecting a reward, which, quite frankly, you’re not too far away from here.
The seemingly complicated interface is not difficult to get used to at all. The data below the bottles and the controls on the right resemble those seen in most of the other Playson slots we’ve seen so far.
The theme gravitates around fruit, although this is not your typical fruit slot, by far. The retro vibe is strong, which we approve of.
With a backdrop that reminds you of a dark, underground bar, and a grid that’s replaced by three bottles, the graphic environment is curious, to say the least. The colors are beautiful and so are the animations and other visuals.
The distinct sounds chosen for this somewhat unique game are rather weird, and they might not be the best choice. There’s a hint of exotic islandic notes.
After you apply the sound setting and explore the controls on the display, you only have to do three things:
Playing Juice Inc. for free until you get the hang of it is the best advice. Spinning the reels with no deposit involved will allow you to focus on the gameplay and understand it better.
This is one of the few games that come with no features in the base game at all. Apart from the jackpot you can score by landing three matching fruit symbols on the right bottle, there’s no other perk included here. Also, there’s a gamble feature that allows you to collect everything won up until that point.
The charm of Juice Inc. is probably in its simplicity, as there probably isn’t another slot with a minimalistic 3×1 grid and only four symbols visible on the reels: apples, lemons, cherries, and X. To get things running, you need combinations of three fruit symbols that will lead to bottles filling up and therefore to potential jackpot. The apple pays the most, followed by the lemons and the cherries.
The lower-than-average RTP of Juice Inc. is not a surprise. At 95%, this rate seems typical of many Playson slots. The low volatility of this slot changes things a bit, meaning that the high payouts expected by some players would not happen at all.
Playson has done it again: creating a slot that has a lot to express and that’s also very different from the rest of the possible competitors. The fruit theme has been heavily transformed to outline a visually challenging at first, yet extremely simple slot to play.
The game is all about assessing risk and taking a leap at the right moment. The gameplay is something most players would easily get accustomed to and they would probably also enjoy it. The lack of features is rather disappointing but there are perks that compensate for that, such as the available jackpots. Overall, this fresh new concept is far more engaging than it seems initially, and the single payline should not make you steer away from it.
